As some of you know I repair Navigation for planes and helicopters, well not too long ago I repaired the navigation that belongs to the Vulcan Bomber and now I am doing a repair and the GPS belongs to a Spitfire.

Next month I have a trip to RAF Lyenham to see the Vulcan as a thank you from the charity that keeps the Vulcan going.

New to the japanese car scene but decided it was time to take the plunge and buy a skyline! its an R33 GTS n/a but its great fun and cheap on insurance and ok on fuel!

.......Its so damn expensive!!!

Chris and I both have to see about taking our trailer tests now (as we passed our tests after Jan 1997), seeing we want to get into the competitive side of racing i think its prob a good idea to be trailering the cars rather than driving them there!! Have been getting some quotes from local training centres and its so expensive! Bloody government got us by the balls for EVERYTHING, money grabbing arseholes!!!

Anyone know of any centres around the Glos/Bristol area i can try?? Cheapest i have found so far is C&G Training in Stroud!

came home from work today to see this

i think it was the bin men as it was a diferent crew today and they backed down the road so after quizing all the neighbours to no avail so i get in the car go to where the bin lorrys are parked over night and the gate is open with a life gaurd washing his pick up inside, so i go over to him and ask if i can go round the back off the lorries to ave a look he looks at me like wtf so i explain whats happend to him and he turns a blind eye

i think it was this one that did it so im going to ring the council up tomz and find out if they know anything about it wat do you guys think as i live on a quite cul de sac in a viladge in the middle of no where and there has been no other heavy trafic around today even the bloddy car alarm didnt go off

Don't think i've ever posted in this section about my ride. (i tried to look for a thread but cant see i started one)

Brought in Start 2008, stock bar kakimoto back box, induction, fcd. Ran fine for a year then a year later it cracked an intermediate plate so had to go for a rebuild and a lil bit of upgrade also.

I joined up after Japfest earlier this year where I had a long chat with Charolla. It's about time I introduced myself and my Corollas. I've been driving Corollas since 1992 when I bought an AE92 Corolla GTi - I kept this for about 6 years. Then I bought a brand new AE111 Corolla SR 3 door hatch which I still own though it's been tweaked a bit. My current daily drive is a 2006 Corolla SR 2 litre turbo diesel.

The 1998 Corolla now has a supercharged 4A-GZE engine from a 1993 Japanese domestic market Toyota Levin GT-z. This has a front mont intercooler, MoTeC M4 standalone EMS and Aquamist water injection and is producing a proven 198bhp. Car has Cusco Zero 2 coilovers and Rays TE-37 rims with Toyo Proxes T1-R rubber. Body has TTE 'WRC' front bumper, TTE 'WRC' rear spoiler and Corolla G6R sideskirts. Inside there are SPA 'dual digital' gauges, Innovate AFR meter and a Momo Fighter steering wheel. Here's some pictures

I was chuffed to have the Corolla featured in the July 2010 edition of Japanese Performance though it's now in the paint shop having a full re-paint in original colours - last time I saw it, it was in primer.

Hi all, thought it was about time I made another post, as I have been a member of the forum for a while now after recently buying my new UKDM 1.5 VTEC.

This is my second Civic and fourth Honda. My first car was an EG 1.5 LSi. I then had a Honda Concerto 1.6i-16 and a JDM Prelude BB1. I then made a rather big mistake by going French (Saxo VTR), which I had for about 6 months and have now bought myself my EK3. I wanted one of these as it seemed like a good combination of performance, reliability and economy:

Good bits:
- Blitz backbox
- Stainless manifold
- AEM short ram induction kit
- Skunk2 cam
- 15" Rota Group N alloys
- Coilovers
- Impreza front seats
- Mugen front and rear lips
- Fuel pressure regulator
- EK9 front grill
- 73,000 miles
- Full Honda service history

Bad bits:
- Rust on rear arches and driver's door
- Bodywork faded in places

Sounds pretty good so far but on day 1 of owning the car, I managed to rip off the front lip cos the car was so low at the front (110mm). Due to this, I took the car to the garage to have it raised and was told that the coilovers were screwed (smaller springs on the front had been taken out to make the car so low that it was bouncing around really bad and destroyed the front tyres).

Therefore, I bought some second hand OEM shocks with 30mm Spax springs, so not as low now but much safer and better handling. I also replaced the front tyres with new Toyo T1-Rs.

Next is to get the bodywork sorted. The back arches are pretty bad and the mounts in the arches that connect to the bumper have literally rusted off!
After this is sorted, I plan to invest in a new stainless catback exhaust and would like to attend some meets
